Here is a background
of how Lebanon Springs Excavating was started by the owners
Andrew Sandstrom and Charles Brown.
Lebanon Springs Excavating
started in 1994 with a simple philosophy, every job we take,
big or small, will be done right.
The first year of our
business, Andy basically worked alone doing some hired out trucking
to fill in the spaces between jobs. By the second year we were
already getting enough work that C.J. was also working along
with our first hired man Trevor Patch.
By the fourth year we
had taken on a fourth man that has since left but now replaced
by Chuck Bingham who started in 2000.
Now with the crew that
we have, after being together for some time, is well balanced
and can do everything that is needed. Everyone has CDL licenses
and also can labor when needed, which really helps on a daily
basis.
All of us have our own
specialties, C.J. and his father Chuck, take care of ninety-nine
percent of our machine maintenance. He also drives truck, and
runs any hired out trucking that we still do, along with anything
else that needs to be done.
Andy estimates and oversees
the jobs from start to finish with his 17 years experience in
the excavating business. He deals with customers and contractors
to coordinate how the customer wants the job to be finished.
Trevor has been driving
truck for over nine years. Over the last few years he has really
excelled in operating machinery along with making the decisions
necessary to keep jobs running smoothly.
The three of us are
second-generation New Lebanon residents and graduated from New
Lebanon High School.
Charles Bingham also
attended New Lebanon and has quickly become a very important
part of our team, being able to drive, labor, and is always
eager to learn anything he can to help get the job done right.
